Belal Najmeddine, Barrister & Solicitor

Belal is the founder of the Edmonton Law Office, a law firm built for the purpose of serving its community.  Belal is born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta.  Belal is an experienced lawyer who feels at home when in the courtroom, but who also understands the value and importance of resolving matters amicably either through mediation or arbitration.

Belal attended the University of Alberta and obtained his Bachelor of Commerce (with distinction) in 2008.  During his undergraduate degree, Belal made it a point to ensure that he took every law class available to him, earning some of the highest grades in his classes.  Following his undergraduate degree, Belal obtained his law degree from Bond University (with Honours) in 2011.  Before the Edmonton Law Office opened its doors, Belal worked for a national law firm out of their Calgary office but later transferred to their Edmonton Office to be closer to his family.

Belal has always focussed his practice on Family Law, Real Estate and Wills and Estates.  He also has extensive experience in Guardianship and Trusteeship Applications, Adoptions, Civil Disputes and Pardon Applications, among other things.  Belal has been involved in a countless number of complex custody matters, property-related matters, spousal and child support disputes, jurisdictional battles, advanced costs applications, restraining and emergency protection applications, etc.
